📸 Best Practices for Using These Newborn Digital Backdrops

Thank you for your purchase! To help you get the best results, here are a few quick tips when photographing and compositing your images:

1️⃣ Focus is Everything

Make sure your baby is completely in focus when you photograph them. These backdrops are crisp and detailed with little to no added blur, so any soft focus or blur on your subject will be noticeable when you composite the images. You, of course, can add some blur as you desire.

2️⃣ Plan Your Angle

Photograph your newborn with the final background in mind. The two most common angles that work best for these backdrops are:

  • Straight on (camera at baby’s eye level)
  • From above (camera directly overhead)

Choosing your angle intentionally will make the compositing process much easier and more natural.
